The Danish Government strengthens its approach to CSR
To gear Denmark for the future and the challenges caused by globalisation, the Danish Government is currently preparing a National Strategy on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The objective of the strategy is to ensure a coherent and focused approach to sustainable business development. In this context, the Government has decided to prioritise and strengthen its activities by integrating the think tank The Copenhagen Centre into the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency's Center for Corporate Social Responsibility under the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs. While, as a consequence, The Copenhagen Centre has ceised to exist as a legal entity, all activities continue with the same group of dedicated CSR people in a new and strengthened CSR centre.
